The Hardest Thing for a Junior Researcher
I haven't been willing to be incremental enough see the possibility in things that didn't get us all the way, but took us somewhere. The hardest thing for a junior researcher is to see the value in something that isn't perfect. I really appreciate the reviewers ain the lotterya ticket paper. That paper is far from perfect in a lot of different ways. And i can tell you every way that it's not. But the reviewers were kind enough to see the possibility and see that this could be valuable and could be an interesting idea. It's hard to do. Part of it is, i want to have a high bar on science. Science is enough of a deal breaker for me
