How to Memorize Words

i'm not stressing too much about words. It's more just being open to absorb the language. So i read the chapter and i try to summarize it to my teacher. Sometimes i'll summary it in writing as well. And this is two ways that i have found in which memorizing words become easier. If i use a word in a conversation, i think it becomes easier to remember. Because i associate a lot of emotions and other things with that word. I remember the feeling i had when i used the word. The mood of the person i was talking to, and all that kind of stuff. Even just like a simple situation, like using a word like frog in a simple sentence
