Oranbeone: It is much easier to read, even like, a nineteenth century legal decision than to read, you know, thucydides. i actually think of your bloomburg writings as being a kind of modernized horace. So you read horace as a preoccupation with wealth, with law. There's a humour in it, the way he segways from one topic to another. The're even mixed feelings on how the pursuit of wealth would translate into happiness.
