Learning to Be Wrong Can Make You Happy in the Short Term
i think self deception can make you happier in the short term. i my guess is that just cultivating the ability to look at things realistically and and cope with reality is probably a better strategy for happiness in the long term. Do you think that learning to be wrong is a skill than that we need to acquire? In a way, it's partly an emotional tool like recognizing the positive, the upside of admitting you were wrong. It's also a different frame, a frame shift in the way you think about being wrong.
