Twitter could survive this if they went back private and basically said, "We're going to do what we do" The issue here is that all the media reporters writing about this see Twitter as the digital town square. We got to stop thinking about it as being this thing that central to our democracy or central to our civic life. It's just like fast news. And once we see Twitter as that, it's an entertainment source for we get to watch smart people shatter their glasses as they do combat. But let's be honest about what this is.
