The Seasonality Lens

The seasonality lens has been such an anchor for me when I've found myself sort of floundering in the unknown and feeling like I need to get somewhere else already. In the dominant culture, there's just no time or space for the momentum to run down or for us to rest peacefully in this period of gestation. And we only attribute something happening to when it is an outward action that is visible to others. We don't attribute all of the underground beneath the skin, you know, within ourselves, growth and momentum that happens even when it appears like we're doing nothing.
