Did All the Polish Prisoners Get Out of the Soviet Union?
Polish people were forcibly deported to the soviet union during World War II. Estimates range from a million up to two million people, but only around 20 thousand made it out to aran. Some of those who survived went back to poland at the end of the war and were viewed with suspicion by locals. They were then reported again to thesoviet union where they would be sent back to siberia.
