The Campaign Has Raised the Rate of Income Support

I've been sharing this inquiry into poverty. And we had an interim report that came out just the week before the budget and managed to get Labor senators to sign on to a recommendation. They weren't willing to say that because they know that that's it is going to require quite a significant contribution in the budget. But, you know, we're making significant contributions like tens of billions of dollars in fossil fuel subsidies,. The $254 billion in the state. So tax cuts, that's $368 billion for the August submarines... I mean, budgets are about choices and they weren’t willing to make that choice.
