The Higher Pleasures of Boethius
Forgetting his human nature is in fact one of boethius's shortcomings. The higher pleasures that are are the intellectual pleasures and certain I would I wouldn't call them just intellectual because like feelings of deep affection and like love right or Humans are characterously capable of this In a way by focusing too much on those lower those lower pleasures. He is actually forgetting that he is a human being And philosophy helps us recall that we are human beings Probably would be helpful to explain how he defines human being which is a rational and mortal man or animal.
