The Difference Between Playwriting and Screenwriting

The difference between playwriting and screen writing is that play writing has this thing called unity of place. The scenes tend to take place in fewer locations and tend to unfold over much more time. Most of the action happens off stage, unless you're somebody awesome like a vampire cowboys who do real life fight sequences on stage.
