Women's Participation in the Strike

The women's auxiliary set up a strike kitchen to feed the striking workers and their families. Workers held lectures and classes for one another, sang songs in order to keep spirits up. The company tried to reduce its risk in the event of a strike by removing dyes that were used to stamp out body parts from another plant.
