Zombies by Delores O'Reardon

Zombie is a song with a great deal of anguished personal and political history behind it. The 1972 bloody sunday massacre in dairie north ireland would 10 years later inspire the very famous 1983 u2 song sunday bloody sunday. There is almost no harmonizing delores's action at all just a little bit during the second versevery faintly on it's the same old theme since 1916 otherwise this is a frightfully straightforward and unadorned song vocally from a singer who'd clearly always been capable of brute force but hadn't much deployed it until now.
