The Libertarianism of Technology

There's a logic at work here which is that we have all these unregulated chemicals seeping into the environment. That's not something anybody was thinking about or intending as a byproduct of technological change. And the libertarians have a very clear position on that, which is that whatever remedies might be proposed are worse than the harms that these might cause.
