The Importance of Meaning in a Narrative

Science not surprising in a way but the really fascinating thing is that didn't correlate with hopefulness science is a mixed bag isn't it. The only other two that correlated with hope were the belief that good will conquer evil and the belief that things happen for a reason. These are like secular eschatologies these are the end of a story good will conquerevil it's all going to make sense in the end now you could say well our society lives and breathes the air of the christian storyYou could say god's put eternity in their hearts you could say it's just intrinsic in man to make meaning by stories, which is true we do tend to create narratives people who create healthy narratives
