What's the Best Strategy Game Development Tool?
The best strategy games, or the ones i love the most, seem to figure out that good balance between all these super complicated systems. Yes, there there's a lot of stuff going on in masetrain, and it definitely was a challenge. We kind of used a combination of different tools and processes to try to both wrap our heads around how all these systems were either engaging or not engaging players for some reason. But really, one of the key things is we developed a culture of feedback, is what we call it on our team. And li captures a screen shot and your save game and so on. It gave us an enormous volume of useful information.
