How to Avoid Misconduct in Scientific Publications
Scientist: Plagiarism is the appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results or words without giving appropriate credit. "Ghost authorship" where someone who wasn't involved in the research adds their name and has credibility clout. Not observing regulations, governing research, failure to report misconduct, or retaliation against those who report misconduct are just a few things that can be considered misconduct.
