The Women Critics of Sociobiology

There was an enormous debate about Wilson's work. He dealt with accusations of sexism from the genes and gender collective, Ethel Tobac and Ruth Hubbard among others. I think that the women critics were not always given the central place in that debate that they should have been. So people like Hubbard and Tobac didn't get to play as major a role in the sociobiology study group in the group of mainly male critics that I think they would have liked to or even that they should've.
