In the parable of the lost sheep, we just talk about leaving the 99 to go after the one. But what is that s that leave the 99? Well, i think the detail that's missing from the parable that david would have supplied is it's ok, no, no good shepherd is going to leave the 99 shepherdlests. There'll be some one else that's taking care of them, cause otherwise, what's going to happen? He's going to come back with one and find 99 now lost. No, a good shepherd is better than that. So this was not 99 and one. This was some negligible flock, but one that David still thought was worth defending
