The Progression of a CMS
The advent of the CMS suddenly opened up a whole range of possibilities for people who really don't have any technical, they don't desire to be technical. So I see the next big event in this history as the release of the iPhone,. am I drawn to that as the key moment? When we had to figure out how to make websites squish and fit on different size phones, tablets, Android devices. That was a huge change. And it came about at the same time these native application ecosystems sprung up which raised the bar for how good an experience you could have with them.
