The Life and Times of Bruce Clapton

Baker offered Clapton a lift back to London in his new car, and on the drive back asked Clapton if he wanted to farm a new band. Clapton was as impressed by Baker's financial skills as he was by his musicianship. He agreed to Baker's plan, but of course they needed a bass player, and Clapton thought he had the perfect solution.
