Is There a Difference Between Comedy and Comedy?

Sarcasm is more acceptable as a way for the audience to weigh in, right? If I give an argument, the audience like, what do they say? Oh, or, what? I mean, that's kind of awkward. But it's more natural just when you say a joke for everybody to laugh. And now you can just more easily measure the, you know, who, which side the audience is inclined toward much more than with argument.
