The Importance of Special Operations in US Military Operations
There are now 74,000 US military personnel and civilians involved in special operations up from 43,000 before 9-11. In an average week as of 2021, there are 4,500 US Special Ops Commandos deployed abroad. The Pentagon refused to give a list of countries where these programs are active. However, one of the countries that was acknowledged was Ukraine.
