The Right of Nations
The state of war begins in society because we become stronger, you know, society as a union of strengths is stronger. And that makes us more warlike and then we need laws to say, Hey, you can't do that. So it's a really fascinating reversal. We lose our feeling of weakness. Then there's two states of war, right between nations and between individuals. They have laws bearing on the relation that these people have with one another. That is the right of nations. I'd never heard that term right of nations before.
