Hillye: What i really liked in your weird realism book on lovecraft was your focus on his style, and not necessarily the content write. Hillye: By focusing on the style, you come up with this term that i really like, this notion of ruination. You can make a cheap joke like that, but it's you're not getting te thing right? Lovecraft? Yes, you can make fun of lovecraft by talking about an invisible whistling octopus. But yet saying that lovecraft writes about an Invisible Whistling Octopus isn't really what he says. When you read lovecraft, literalism is our enemy; we need to abolish it.
