The American twist of the prosperity gospel is not only are we saying, this is a down payment on your future salvation. You can prosper in this lifetime, which seems like a total bastardization of Calvinism,. And so you get it now and later. There's not another, there's not another thing out there that can beat that marketing pitch. I think particularly with things like the prosperity gospel, which is not not universal among evangelical churches, but certainly more common there than in other Christian denominations.
