First Impressions Are More Accurate Than Chance
Our first impressions are pretty accurate, roughly 70 % of the time. They're more accurate than than chance but once we make them, they tend to stick. We have to make some effort or be exposed to a lot of contradicting information for us to up date those assumptions about people and we usually don't do that.
