Is There a Catholic Doctrine of Original Sin?

i was exposed to a lot of catholicism growing up. Who went to catholic school? I for 12 years or so of my life. And so and the kind of folk, the folk religion of catholics has this idea of limbo. This is not an official doctrine, but it was taught as if it was,. It's been officially, like the vaticans that has written stuff about it. We don't believe this. But it's one of those kind of enduring, a yet enduring belief that many catholics thought was being taught. They thought it was official.
