The Importance of Metaphysical Categories in Philosophy
Luther's often known for his criticisms of Aristotle right I mean if you look at his scholastic disputations he's extremely critical of Aristotle now. Luther is very adamant that when it comes to the doctrine of justification it doesn't quite fit into those metaphysical categories and that's what he's going to be largely critical of with Aquinas. The New Testament's treatment of classical Greek philosophy has a twofold testimony on the one hand but also Paul speaking about the Christian faith being foolishness to the Greeks.
