The Growth and Decline of the Macedonian Empire

Two years ago we looked at why the Macedonian Empire expanded so rapidly. We briefly spoke about the growth and decline in the 4th century BCE empire. Philip the Second would lead an army to victory over a coalition of Greek forces at the Battle of Kia'enea in 338 BCE. His son Alexander took his throne and would punish the Greeks for attempting to rise up against him.
