Marxism as a Dialectical and Materialist Worldview

Every new society which is birthed through revolution had its seeds in the society which preceded it. Marx and Engels argue that capitalism has socialized labor to such a degree that actually the beginnings of socialism already exist. And so if worth thinking through this, we can ask: Is kropotkin here offering us an actually scientific view of socialism? Does the communism that kropotkins proposes start by looking at the contradictions within capitalism and seeing how communism might emerge out of it?
