Is There a Balance Between Exploration and Exploration?
In active inference, you don't have this reward function. It's about trying to fulfill these prior preferences. Why do I gain information to reduce uncertainty if it doesn't always relate to an instant reward? And that answers that question. So the idea is that there is no trade-off between exploitation and exploration because it all comes under uncertainty minimization.
