What Is Racialized Design?

"Racialized design is design that perpetuates elements of racism," says professor. "I think there's also very much systems of race or racist systems that are not visible." The NIVI was developed by Robert Moses in the 1920s and '30s to prevent black people from getting into certain areas of New York City through public buses for 12 feet tall bridges. In Detroit, they're tearing down a highway system that divided a black community.
