Movie Review - Charlie and the Pizza Guy
The movie made me very sad but not necessarily at the beats that I think were supposed to be sad more so I just felt sad because of the world that it depicted everyone in the film that we see is kind of lost in their own trauma or is struggling. It's such a bleak scenario and eking what like light and meaning you can find out of that kind of scenario is incredibly difficult, especially for people who struggle with eating disorders as Charlie does. The absence of love in this or the bleakness as you describe it also demonstrates to some extent how powerful a small gesture can be for some people. You never know how what it might do to them or how it might help someone's day
