The Importance of Instrumental Causality
In composing the sacred books, God chose men and while employed by him, they made use of their powers and abilities. The Holy Spirit oversees their preaching initiatives and he oversees their writing. That is what we call inspiration. It is the Holy Spirit working on the mind and in the heart to produce this written text.
