The only time in life for an ordinary person when the central channel totally opens is death. For an enlightened being, that's when they work, they get their full awareness. Buddha led us to think of Nirvana as a space like state somewhere else where you're just a whole space so you don't have to be bothered by anything and you have that feeling of release into it.
