The Adventure of Carl and Ellie

Pixar's up is about a father and son who meet as children but never get to Paradise Falls. At the end of act five in a seven act structure, Russell has lost his faith in Carl. And he goes into his house with all these possessions he's been trying to hold on to. He discovers the picture book where Ellie had filled it with pictures from their childhood. They are not the big adventures that they dreamed of as child. They are the simple real life moments that made their lives matter.
