Annie Get Your Gun and Irving Berlin's Career

Annie Get Your Gun is the story of Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter who toured around in a Wild West show. Irving Berlin was put on the project to write the score in the lyrics after Jerome Kern's death. He wrote an incredibly racist song called I Am an Indian which includes a red face scene within the musical.
