Is There a Difference Between Eastern and Western Christianity?
In the west, what came out of that tradition was more communal monasticism. And then in the east, there's a version of that as well,. But there's still a strong tradition of the more solitary, like, like monk. So it's interest, I don't know exactly why that happened, but if there's some sort of relation to generally eastern Christianity is more mystical.
