Niam: A Planned Utopian Tourist Destination
Saudi Arabia has been trying to come up with new revenue streams as well as camouflage its numerous human rights issues. Their biggest bet when it comes to diversifying their economy and making more money is this planned utopian city called Niam. It's sort of billed as this like utopian tourist destination where you can have all these incredible experiences if you can afford it. But at the same time, there are also some issues with people who are already living where Niam is supposed to bewho are definitely not being treated very well.
