Is There an Active Community for Web Scraping?

There's not so much an active community in my area of social science. All the solutions have largely been developed, and it's just you finding those solutions using good search practices. So for as somebody coming into it now, you're quite lucky. But i wouldn't say i need an active community. I'm reliant more on those detailed solutions that have already been posted on the likes of stack overflow.
