"If you could keep your awareness on your primary object for even 10 seconds, you would already be in some of the highest planes of enlightenment," he says. "The impatience that is required is incredible... each time it moves away and you notice it's gone away, just bring it back to the primary object." He has been practising Samadhi meditation for 22 years; most intensive was two months when he did 17 hours a day.
