I think it's also worth pointing out the fundamental difference between humility and humiliation. Humility is saying like, I'm not a saint. That means that I'm not arbiter of everything good. But also I should not be expected to be. And my failings are not a spectacle. They're just ordinary, you know. And it's not your place to humiliate me. It's not my place to be humiliated. Instead like I cultivate an right-sidedness.
