The Probability of Landing in the Western Hemisphere

The probability that a random point on earth is going to be in the western hemisphere is 100 percent. But landing exactly on the equator because it's a line and it has no thickness is is zero. Probability zero events do occur in probability theory, which is one of those really complicated things that Mathematicians have trouble explaining but yes the probability of landing you could land near the equator was 50%.
