In the early 19 sixties, nelson e thinking about a future digital utopia. Nelson embraces an almost adversarial attitude to traditional academia and industry alike. His unique position often puts him at odds with the field that he is trying to advance. As nelson sees it, this outsider position gives him a unique view into computing. And i don't think he's totally wrong about that.
