I've Been Thinking About This a Lot Lately, and I'm Thinking About the Idea When Assumptions Become Optional

i was listening to some of your other episodes, and i was thinking about the idea when assumptions become optional. I had a friend who was in europe before the ucrane thing, for some sort of pnuclear demonstration. But this person said, i would burn the last tree on this earth to keep my child warm at night. And i don't think we've taken that reality seriously enough. It's an option to have industrial society ar not. There aren't like trade offs. If i had to pick between regular, rolling black outs and those like difficult intellectual, culturor political problems, i'm picking those problems. Youno, ah, just like moral norms.
