Beethoven's Seventh Symphony
The seventh symphony was written between 18 11 and 18 12. premiered on december eighth 18 13 in vienna. This would be beethoven's last big premier for quite the while. The piece is usually considered to be one of the only duds of his career. It features a battle with the percussion section literally facing off from the opposite sides of the stage.
