Tony Blair has had a pretty good track record when it comes to warfare at this moment in time. Perhaps he didn't think that when he was elected on very much a domestic footing back in 1997, that he would become a wartime leader. He's done all of them in the face of significant public criticism at home. What lesson do you take from that if you're a prime minister six years into your premiership as Blair was in 2003? The lesson you take is that I know what I'm doing, right? And I know better than a lot of these talking heads in the media or these people who are criticizing me or indeed, than public opinion.
