The Future of Books

I find products don't succeed when they figure out the right niche. What I've seen most successful in terms of strategic is figuring out niches. People tend to be more successful, at least in my opinion, when you focus on a target segment. How do you deal with resistance internally to suggesting a new change in technology? That's an I'm not sure the right way to answer that question. Every product manager kind of has to think about the future of their product and their area.
