Is there still enough natural selection going on so that we'll be the strongest? Or will we meddle with our genes so that tomorrow natural selections get relevant? We're probably no longer being selected to get brainier. There's absolutely no reason to think that being clever makes you like to have lots of children, quite the reverse. Of all the things that could affect our genetically, what is the greatest among them? Selection is still going on with us.
