I Don't Use Rubrics for Individual Lessons, but I Do Use Criteria for Mastery Checks
I don't use rubrics. I do use criteria for mastery though. So, you know, the only possible scores are zero and one. And if you meet the criteria, you get the one, which means you mastered the lesson. What i like about having a rubric for each mastery check is that students are really clear. Like it's really clear for students what mastering a concept looks like,. Or skill. For you two reach master you have to score a four or above in my class. Rite.
